Hater Of The Week-Kane County

ImageHost.org
summers just getting jumped off the bulls training camps haven't started yet and the police already got Englewood's no. 1 draft pick jumping through hoops. Kane County hating ass don't have nothing better to do than put out negative press on one of Chicago's own because he has the potential to be a positive influence on the kids from the hood and all they got is flood waters and FEMA checks meanwhile Rose signed a deal for $15 million. story follows:

Rose, 19, who lives in Chicago's West Englewood community, was driving a 2008 Land Rover on April 29 when he was stopped at 2:58 a.m. about a mile west of Illinois Highway 47 for allegedly going 106 m.p.h. in a 65-m.p.h. zone, according to Kane County court records. He is scheduled to appear in court July 11. State motor vehicle records indicate the Land Rover was registered to Wasserman Media Group, the Chicago sports management firm representing Rose. On April 15, two weeks before he received the ticket, Rose announced he was entering the NBA draft.

Former Bulls guard B.J. Armstrong, who now works for Wasserman Media Group, the agency that represents Rose, was contacted Tuesday night and informed of the incident but had no comment. ''I know I did something dumb,'' said Rose, the former Simeon star whom the Bulls made the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft last week. ''I made a big mistake. I'm very sorry, and I can only promise that it will never happen again.''

Rose said he was not going or returning from anywhere in particular when he was stopped but was just taking a long drive to clear his head. The charge is a misdemeanor because of the speed at which Rose was allegedly traveling. The maximum sentence is 1 year in the county jail, but first-time offenders are frequently sentenced to traffic safety school and a fine.

Wild 100's-Running Back to Jail

ImageHost.org
"I apologize for making the poor decision to drink and drive," Benson said in the statement. "Given the incident last month, it was a particularly bad decision. I have no excuse for this lack of judgment. Though I strongly believe that I am not guilty of any crime, I realize that the public and the Bears organization hold me to a higher standard. Though my local attorneys will continue to work hard to prove my innocence, I confess to using poor judgment. Please accept my deepest apology."

Benson, Austin police say, was driving a BMW and ran a red light in the heart of Austin's night life district. Austin police spokeswoman Veneza Aguinaga said an officer smelled alcohol on Benson's breath and he was given a field sobriety test. He then was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving and taken into custody without incident.

Once at the Travis County jail, Benson declined a Breathalyzer and blood test, Aguinaga said. After his arrest, a magistrate ordered Benson held in lieu of $2,000 bond, which he posted shortly afterward and was released at 8:48 a.m., jail officials said

"Disappointment is too much an often-used word when we're talking about Cedric," Bears general manager Jerry Angelo said Saturday during a news conference before the annual fan convention at Soldier Field. "I am very surprised he put himself in this situation." "When individual priorities overshadow team goals, we suffer the consequences as a team," Angelo said in a statement. "Those who fail to understand the importance of 'team' will not play for the Chicago Bears."

Wild 100's-Tenitra's Side Hustle

ImageHost.org
WNBA minority owner Tenitra was in the building last week shaking her ass and titties during halftime 2 promote her new video and watch the Chicago Sky get they face beat by the LA Sparks in OT 81-77. The UIC pavillion sold a record 6000+ seats but fans didnt pay to see Candice Dupree and the 1-4 Sky they came to the game with Tennessee team colors and Naperville native Candace Parker tees. Michelle might want to start bootlegging cds at the ticket window and scalping color purple tickets on Racine and Roosevelt to recoup that investment money.

Wild 100's-Man That's Cigaweed!

JO_NOAH.bmp (1.5 MB)
Bulls center Joakim Noah was arrested in Gainesville, Fla., early Sunday on allegations of possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and an open-container violation, police said.

Summer Hallett, public information officer for the Gainesville Police Department, confirmed that Gainesville police stopped Noah, 23, about 1:50 a.m. Sunday for carrying a clear plastic cup with an "iced, amber-colored beverage" inside.

Hallett said Noah put down the liquid when confronted by police, who were enforcing the city's law prohibiting drinking from open containers on public sidewalks.

Hallett said subsequent inspection revealed Noah's drink to be alcoholic, at which point officers arrested Noah and took him to the department's downtown annex. A source said Noah was drinking cognac.

Once there, Hallett said, officers discovered a cannabis cigarette inside a cigarette package that Noah had in his pants pocket. Noah was issued a notice to appear in court for the two misdemeanors.

Hallett said Noah was cooperative with police and "bonded himself out" by being fingerprinted and signing a notice to appear before a judge at his court date.

The misdemeanor marijuana charge carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $500 fine.

Hallett said Noah has a court date in June.

An attempt to reach Noah wasn't successful.

A team spokesman said general manager John Paxson is aware of the incident but would reserve comment until more information has been gathered.

The spokesman added that Paxson spoke to Noah on Sunday and expressed his disappointment to Noah for his actions.

The incident was first reported by the Gainesville Sun newspaper.

A spokesman for the NBA league office said officials are monitoring the situation.

According to the collective bargaining agreement, any player convicted of marijuana possession is required to enter a league program.

A third violation would bring a five-game suspension.

Noah averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds during his rookie season after the Bulls drafted him ninth overall out of Florida last June.
