Behind The Hate-Ex Alderman Arenda Troutman Is A Ho
Ice Cube really did his research on Chicago politics for Barber Shop character Alderman Lay Low Brown.
2007-Former Alderman of the 20th ward Arenda Troutman was under federal investigation by the FBI for fraud and missuse of office FBI evidence included two recorded conversations where Arenda was caught on tape calling quote "city of Chicago politicans and alderman hoes" and prostituting her poltical powers for a development project asking "what's in it for me?" At the time the political hoe held a media conference calling herself quote " a political target," and "folks in the community know what it is when you're the voice of the people." In addition to being the voice of the people in 2004 she was the alleged bustdown for a high ranking member of the Black Disciiples, city council chair for mutliple committees including Rules and Ethics and the alleged origin of the Hired Truck Program scandal in 2006.
Fast forward to 2008 Andre Johnson a Baptist elder by day, convicted felon with pending lawsuits for mortgage fraud, identity theft and FBI mole when the goverment calls hoodwinked the political hoe with a $5,000 check for fundraiser tickets, in support of bogus real estate development, from the 20th Ward Women's Auxillary a nonprofit organization that US Asst Atty Joseph Alexia said tens of thousands of dollars were spent without accounting totaling $21,500. Arenda is now pleading guilty to mail fraud tax fraud and bribery charges in a 33 page plea deal stating "it was standard practice for her office to solicit political contribution from clients."
Legal representation was handled by Sam Adam Jr., from the R. in Sylvester Kelly's attorney famous aquittal.
