when kobe bryant laces up his sneakers saturday at the united center he'll be wearing a vision of chicago students from claremont academy elementary school and parkside elementary community academy. the nike zoom kobe IVs are predominantly black with the classic nike swoosh in lakers purple, the shoes also feature laker gold snakeskin on the front toe and on the back of the shoe. the design project contest was sponsored by nike and a program called after-school all-stars and was held at nike's regional headquarters on rush street.
